What is ProxyTool?
ProxyTool is a desktop proxy client for Windows, macOS and Linux that routes individual applications through SOCKS5 or HTTPS proxies. It works at the network layer, so apps that have no proxy settings of their own, such as games and messaging clients, can still be proxied.
Does ProxyTool work with Evomi proxies?
Yes. Add your Evomi residential, mobile, datacenter or static residential endpoint to ProxyTool with the host, port, username and password from your Evomi dashboard, then point any application at it with a routing rule.
Can I route only some apps through a proxy?
Yes. ProxyTool uses per-application rules, so you can send Chrome through an Evomi residential proxy while everything else keeps a direct connection. This split tunneling avoids the overhead of a full VPN.
Can I migrate an existing Proxifier setup?
